Rand Paul still wants to "audit the Fed".
So, you know, I say: Okay. Audit the Fed. But I get to pick the auditor. :-)
Paul Krugman, Greg Ip, Joseph Stiglitz and that chap who's name escapes me right now. But he's very good*. :-)
*Nouriel Roubini. :-) (Sorry. It was on the tip of my tongue, so to speak. A wee bit of Googling and I figured out who I was thinking of!)
I think it's a question of "be careful what you wish for - you might just get it!" I'm quite sure Senator Paul would prefer it if Paul Ryan did the audit.
