He does what?

Out of curiosity, and because I like to read interviews with clever people, I read Joanna Chiu's interview with Pankaj Mishra in the South China Morning Post. I was doing fine until I came across this:
The 43-year-old now divides his time between Mashobra, where he does much of his writing, and London, where he lives with his wife, book editor Mary Mount, and their young daughter.
I got stuck. He lives in London with his wife and his book editor? And his daughter? Huh. Takes all... Oh. Ah. Yes. I misread it. :-)

I must be tired. Zzzzz

Carolyn Ann

PS The SCMP quoted The Economist saying the Mr Mishra as "having a "surprising new perspective"". Which is not something I'd ever accuse Niall Ferguson of having. </snark>

PPS It's a fascinating and informative interview. You should read it. :-)

Miserable attempts at insult, self-pity and whiny sniveling isn't. There are other blogs that specialize in, and relish, that sort of pedantry.
