Kentucky Democrats are, apparently, not all that keen on an Ashley Judd Senate run. She's not a political type, and subsequently doesn't stand a chance against Mitch McConnell, Republican Minority Leader.
Well, considering that they seem to be basing their reluctance on a fan-like sighting in Washington DC, and that Mitch is known for running scorched-earth campaigns - and anyone the Democrat establishment have put up against the man has basically melted... Perhaps they need to rethink their reluctance and embrace someone who might be imperfect, but can capture the popular imagination in a way Mitch doesn't even know exists?
Heck, the Tea Party didn't let imperfection in their campaigners stand in the way of anything. (Mind you, they did demand a purity of thought that has proven astonishingly easy to accomplish. Probably because it requires "not thinking" as a central part of its 'philosophy'?)
I reckon that Ms Judd stands a decent chance against the Cantankerous Mitch McCurmudgeon. She should go for it.

Miserable attempts at insult, self-pity and whiny sniveling isn't. There are other blogs that specialize in, and relish, that sort of pedantry.
