So you can't find macruby.h?

If you happen to get the error message "macruby.h not found" you need to tell XCode where it actually is. You do that by going into the Build Options, looking for "Search Paths" (it'll be the one you just missed) and setting it to look in "/Library/Frameworks".

Don't forget the forward slash - it doesn't work without it. (Or at least mine didn't.)

Here's a picture:

So now you know. :-)

Added: I forgot - make it "recursive". Sorry.

  1. I've searched high and low, and I even tried what you suggested, but I still can't find macruby.h anywhere on my system.

For that matter, I can't find XCode either.

I did find Visual C++ though.

    1. Well, I'd say it's pretty obvious what the problem is, then! :-D

      (Sorry - I probably should have resisted... :-) )

Miserable attempts at insult, self-pity and whiny sniveling isn't. There are other blogs that specialize in, and relish, that sort of pedantry.
