I don't know if Dr Weiss really is the author of that quote; I presume so, because I've not seen anyone complaining about false attributions, and there are a good number of prominent transgender and transsexual bloggers quoted. Anyway, what made me stop is that Dr Weiss supports providing the murderer Michelle Kosilek with SRS - because it essential medical care. The reason it's essential is, according to the judge in that case, because [transsexuality] is a "major mental illness".
Just a thought.
