There are idiots and then there is that special breed, that superlative-busting genius of idiocy, that person who astonishes you with their ability to walk and talk simultaneously. They exist, you hope, in small numbers - and yet they seem to be capable of making a noise far in excess of either their intellectual prowess or the sense they were allegedly born with. Why is this important? Well...
A whole bunch of them have gotten together and petitioned for New Jersey's secession from the Union.
I kid thee not. Certain residents of 28 states have put forth secession claims. They've gathered a few thousand signatures. Astonishing, right? I can't figure out if it's the Mai Lai defense, or just good old fashioned stupidity. Probably both.
And the reason they've gone to so much trouble? They don't like the President of these United States.
Words don't fail, but they are unpublishable.
