I was just thinking, for some unknown reason, about the Republican Vice-Presidents over the last 50 years.
The ones of note are Spiro Agnew, Dan Quayle, and Dick Cheney. The candidate of note is Sarah Palin. Granted, the Dems have had Lyndon Johnson - who pushed through civil rights legislation (the GOP had Dick Nixon with China and the EPA) - and Walter Mondale. And their candidates have often been dreadful - the aforementioned Walter Mondale, John Edwards and who can forget Joe Lieberman? (I'm guessing a lot of Democrats and a good few folk in Congress wish they could forget the man.) More importantly, the Dems have Joe Biden, who has proven himself to be quite the formidable political player; not that there was much doubt of that.
So who will Mittens pick? He can't pick a technocrat - he's one. And picking someone like Sarah would be a disaster. The world awaits. As do the Dems. (But they're hoping for an early Christmas present, like Sarah was.)

Miserable attempts at insult, self-pity and whiny sniveling isn't. There are other blogs that specialize in, and relish, that sort of pedantry.
