I can only suggest you take this under at least advisement, Carmen

So... Perhaps Carmen will criticize the retired, uniformed, protestors in Chicago? And girlgeekcat will admonish that those servicemen and women could make their protest just as effective if they simply held their uniforms up at some police roadblock?

Here's the sentence from the above-linked article:
On Sunday, in what is expected to be the largest in a series of demonstrations, a group plans to march to McCormick Place, the site of the meeting, led by uniformed Iraq war veterans who intend to give back their medals as a gesture against the war.
Tell me, Carmen, girlgeekcat, whomever: what's the difference between Autumn Sandeen's protest and this protest? Autumn didn't give back her medals and some of these guys will. That's the only difference.

(To be honest, I'm not sure why they'd want to protest a war that has ended. And the Administration that started it is long gone.)

When you criticize someone, it helps to think about the criticism. Especially if your effort is a few years after the event you're criticizing. A lesson Carmen will, no doubt, take under advisement.

Miserable attempts at insult, self-pity and whiny sniveling isn't. There are other blogs that specialize in, and relish, that sort of pedantry.
