Here's the sentence from the above-linked article:
On Sunday, in what is expected to be the largest in a series of demonstrations, a group plans to march to McCormick Place, the site of the meeting, led by uniformed Iraq war veterans who intend to give back their medals as a gesture against the war.Tell me, Carmen, girlgeekcat, whomever: what's the difference between Autumn Sandeen's protest and this protest? Autumn didn't give back her medals and some of these guys will. That's the only difference.
(To be honest, I'm not sure why they'd want to protest a war that has ended. And the Administration that started it is long gone.)
When you criticize someone, it helps to think about the criticism. Especially if your effort is a few years after the event you're criticizing. A lesson Carmen will, no doubt, take under advisement.
