Buy a dress

I was perusing "What to Wear for the Rest of Your Life (Ageless secrets of style)" by Kim Johnson-Gross (2010) when I came across this quote:
Why see a shrink? You'll feel so much better if you spend the money on a new dress.
-- Evelyn Johnson, Ms Johnson-Gross' mother.

:-)

Ms Johnson-Gross also noted that "many look to Michelle Obama and Nancy Pelosi as style mentors." Now that's something none of the Republicans can fault. (Although I have no doubt they'd try.)

  1. I don't know as I have any clothes that would stand in for therapy. For a painting-dropcloth, yes. Interesting idea, though. Since I'm not into clothes, no possible purchases occur to me. Though, when I used to wear suits, a nice silk tie always appealed to me.

  2. A nice silk tie is always a treat! I got rid of a ton of ties, keeping only the best. Even though I don't wear them (ever again), I still like looking at them. Some are works of art! :-)
