That must have been a good meeting...

The British Home Secretary, Alan Johnson, apparently had a meeting with some of the (remaining) scientists on his Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs (ACMD). He was trying to stop the resignations of more scientists and academics, and heal the rift that had developed since he arbitrarily sacked Professor David Nutt, an advisor on the board.

It didn't go too well...

3 more quit.

I think it's at this point where Mr Johnson should simply concede he screwed up.
